The Wildlife Research and Conservation Society (WRCS) has dedicated over two decades to fostering a harmonious future for both people and nature. Born from listening to the quiet disappearance of species and vital wetlands, our mission transcends traditional conservation. We believe true biodiversity preservation and human-wildlife coexistence thrive through compassion, local wisdom, and community strength, co-creating solutions with those who live alongside the wild.

At WRCS, our work centers on critical areas where human and wildlife lives intersect. We actively engage in Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation, developing innovative solutions to protect crops and ensure safe passage for animals, thereby reducing fear and fostering mutual respect. Our efforts also extend to vital Habitat Restoration, integrating traditional ecological knowledge with modern science to revive forests, wetlands, and grasslands.

Beyond ecological restoration, WRCS champions Community-Based Conservation, empowering local voices through initiatives like training youth leaders and supporting sustainable livelihoods, such as women creating eco-friendly crafts. We also nurture the next generation with impactful Environmental Education, promoting understanding and long-term stewardship. Our success is measured in improved lives and flourishing landscapes, embodying our role as quiet catalysts for change, ensuring the voices of the forest, the land, and its people are heard and amplified.
